Hai Everyone

Iam having problem with including the htmlentities fucntion within the xmp tag. Actually the conversion is not working.But thats works fine if the xmp tags are removed.

Code is as follows:
$content=htmlentities($article['article_description'], ENT_QUOTES);
Can anyone please help me.

Thanks and Regards

<?php
$cid=mysql_connect("localhost","root","");
$db=mysql_select_db("bellsouth",$cid);
$q1="select * from articles where article_site_id=2 ORDER BY `article_date` DESC limit 8";
$r1=mysql_query($q1);
$article=mysql_fetch_array($r1);

I'm wondering if xmp can even be transferred at a later time and be interpreted correctly. Anyway htmlentities escapes all the < and > thus making it impossible for the Backbase interpreter to recognize them. Why do you want to escape them anyway?

My actual problem is If I give the htmlentities function within the xmp tags then when it encounters the anchor or image tag then its displaying an error. So when i removed the tags then its displaying the correct inofromation with the images

Thanks and Regards
